    Violin Lessons Cost

    • 38 x in 12 months, 1x 45 minutes weekly, costs 99,-€ as monthly installment payment
    • 38 x in 12 months, 1x 60 minutes weekly, costs 132,-€ as monthly installment payment

    “Now and then”

    • Single appointments always at least 60 minutes : each 40,-€
    • There are no free trial lessons with me, because I basically teach intensively right away. Students who come here for individual consultations might then not understand why others do not have to pay for the first appointment

A violin can be borrowed from a violin maker, e.g. Mr. Teichmann in Hamburger Straße. The consultation of trained violinists is as much a central component of my teaching as the promotion of young talent through a very sound training from the beginning from 4 years, or the training of adults and young people as beginners and advanced. Tips: 1. the way length to the instruction: For music-enthusiastic laymen the know-how of music-educational professions is difficult to estimate. I often hear that the most important thing is that the lessons are inexpensive and take place nearby or in impressive premises. But real connoisseurs know: be critical in your musical education and don’t shy away from the basics right from the start. My lessons are based on an intensive and very expensive qualification of many years 2. “Playing a little bit every day” is virtually a guarantee for success, whereby my “practice tidbits” are dosed so effectively that they do not overtax. Overstraining only occurs when slurring occurs. Violin training is easy if you play every day, and turns into a difficult and often unsuccessful undertaking if you “just want to try a little”. There are almost no parents or adult students who heed this trick and urgent advice. My tip: Just as you eat small portions every day, you can feed your violinistic know-how with daily input. 3. starting age: an early start or only as a teenager or adult: the unrestrained desire counts !!! There are children who are just begging to learn to play the violin. This is a sure indicator of talent. This must be taken seriously and has nothing to do with drill or high expectations. After all, some people can play soccer, eat pizza, or go shopping every day and you would never call that drill. Gifted children similarly love playing the violin. Also, a structured daily routine where regular violin practice has a welcome ( !!! ) place in the family is an idyll for training. The child or the adult conquers in this security with daily playing demonstrably a great skill, which can not be unlearned until old age. My violin pedagogy is based on a travel-intensive, expensive education, a lot of concert experience, continuous studies of violin music and the textbooks of most successful violin pedagogues. For violin freaks I have listed here some literature especially for violin playing:

Depends, the question can’t be answered by anyone here, because we don’t know what possibilities you have to take lessons. At a music school it is usually cheaper than with a private teacher. There is also the possibility, group lessons group lessons, in which case it costs about half of the normal individual individual lessons. If you learn other instruments at the music school, you can get a discount. The price also depends on the duration of the lesson: 30 minutes or 45 minutes. Also keep in mind that you usually have to pay for the vacations, even if there are no lessons. So ask around, call around and think about what is possible for you from the above criteria. 15-45 EUR, average will be around 20 EUR. But it also depends on whether it is in a music school, private, and how “exclusive” the teacher is. By the way – I don’t want to be your neighbor 😉 call a music school or a private teacher, the prices are very different. Lessons are not that expensive but the violin costs a lot if you only rent it. Bought the cheaper ones cost around 10000€. So my daughter gets violin lessons and that is at 70€ a month There she has but also 2x lessons a week. 1x 45min group lessons and 1x 30min private lessons.

What do you want to know?
